Job Description

Within the “Business Development, Commercial and Tendering” function of the Onshore Engineering and Construction Division, the candidate will provide assistance during the bidding and execution phases on all the matters related to tax and financial aspects of the projects, liaising both within the same department and with the Corporate Finance and Tax functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Assure coordination during the bidding process between the E&C Onshore Commercial and Tendering Dept. and the Corporate Finance and Tax Depts.
•  Assist E&C Onshore Commercial and Tendering Dept. during the bidding process in relation to project finance and tax solutions
•  Participate in the preparation of Cost Closure Report
•  Assist in the post-bid clarification phase with Client
• As soon as the candidate is ready, negotiations with Clients on outstanding finance and tax aspects of the Proposal and in the formalization of Contracts
• Participate in preparing the Proposal Close-Out Report
•  Coordinate the interface with the Corporate Finance Dept  to define bonds and guarantees texts
• Assist project teams during the project execution phase in relation to financial and tax aspects
• Assist the Proposal Manager in managing the interfaces with Partners and Clients
• Analyse Contract requirements and conditions
• Review all tender and contractual documentation considering the concerned financial and tax implications: SOW breakdown, price breakdown, assignment clauses, guarantees, invoicing, payment terms, default securities, currency protection, effectiveness, suspension and termination right
•  Understand the preliminary project cash flow developed by the estimator
• Understand financial and tax aspects of the project
