Job Description:

Project Managers within the Business Optimization group manage a variety of projects primarily focused around process optimization, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives and serving as the single point of contact for their assigned projects. The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams in developing scope of work, business requirements, schedule, etc. The Project Manager is also responsible for managing issues and risks, stakeholder communication, and training and ensuring key deliverables and milestones are met.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform project management duties for HR issues and initiatives such as program implementations, reorganizations, and audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
  • Consult and partner with leadership to develop and deliver customized and innovative solutions to support client business needs. Provide counsel and guidance to clients on strategies for performance management, rewards, and recognition. Develop and manage strategies to mitigate risks related to employee relations issues, conflict resolution, coaching, and terminations. Support and drive company initiatives, including policies changes and Human Resources programs.
  • Function as technical expert and consultant to clients on Human Resources (HR) issues such as employee relations, performance management, workforce consultation, organization support, compensation administration, and alternative dispute resolution. Provide policy and regulatory interpretation and guidance. Utilize data to proactively identify areas of focus.
  • Partner with other HR areas to lead integrated delivery of HR services.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to partner with all levels of the organization to constructively resolve differences and develop solutions to complicated issues. Ability to manage client expectations required. Must be effective at promoting collaborative cross-functional relationships. Intermediate
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment/human resources law and regulations, and progressive broad human resources experience required. Must keep abreast of developing trends, and changes to laws and regulations Intermediate
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and applicant information.
  • 5 years – HR experience across multiple disciplines at the professional level and experience with HR systems, including 2 years of supervisory, lead or consulting experience. Required
  • Strong consultative, interpersonal and oral and written communications skills required; must be proficient at managing multiple priorities and accomplishing simultaneous demands in a high-pressure environment. Intermediate
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and exercise appropriate judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information. Advanced
  • Bachelor’s Degree Business, Human Resources (HR), related field, or equivalent training and/or experience. Required
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and the development and use of metrics with a working knowledge of database and spreadsheet software, and HRIS. Intermediate
