Shoalhaven Council Jobs – Leisure Attendant

Job Description:

There are three positions available (1 full-time, 38 hours and two part-time, 20 hours per week). These positions will be based at our Bay and Basin Leisure Centre.

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated ability to provide effective customer service
• Demonstrated ability to follow defined WHS policies and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and co-operatively as part of a team
• Proven ability to work unsupervised

Job Requirements:

• An understanding of the local government environment.
• Working knowledge of pool plant equipment, water testing and pool supervision 2
• Knowledge and understanding of RLSSA Guidelines
• Relevant industry experience regarding safe pool operation
• Knowledge of equipment for cleaning an Aquatic Leisure environment
• Previous work experience in an Aquatic Leisure environment
• Current Drivers Licence
• Knowledge of handling requirements for dangerous goods and hazardous substances
