Job Description:

As an experienced contact centre Planner you will help plan supply for customer contacts across a range of channels. You will be working in an end to end planning environment, involved in multiple aspects of the resource plan including the short term forecast, shrinkage forecasting, shift design and handover to live operations.

You will own the weekly outlook plans for operational areas, ensuring that supply plans are robust and effectively communicated. You will guide the workload and quality of the planner team to ensure best balance for our people and customers.

You will work closely with operations to create and support effective paths to success ensuring shift-fit and shrinkage remain within budgeted variance. Own the production and development of reporting solutions that support the contact centre operation to deliver operational efficiencies, service delivery targets and enhanced data driven decision making.

• Drive the best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm.
• You will interpret business requirements and deliver high quality, customer focused technical solutions.
• Be a part of an agile environment primarily using open source technologies and the best deployment techniques.
• Report to a senior developer and work closely with other Java and Scala developers, Testers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Solution
• Architects, Reliability Engineers, Security Engineers and Performance Engineers to maintain and improve market-leading digital solutions.
• Join a mixed team of back-end and front-end developers use to a wide range of technologies from Kubernetes to ReactJS.
• Utilise pair-programming on a regular basis and mentor less experienced developers where appropriate.

Job Requirements:

• Exemplary communication and people skills, in a technical and non-technical context.
• Advocate of TDD and BDD practices.
• Experience of software development for high capacity, high traffic, high availability websites.
• A passion for Agile methodologies and concepts such as Scrum, XP, Lean, and Kanban.
• Experience in Java or Scala Development.
• Familiarity with front end web technologies, for example ReactJS, is desirable.
• Experience of OO development and design patterns.
