Job Description: The Data Sales Executive (DSE) is responsible for expanding Company data products penetration into the market. The candidate will be responsible for both acquisition and retention of subscriber accounts. This position will work closely with Market Sales Executives, Market Area Sales Managers, Public Sector Account Managers and other Sales Team members as well as the Sales Operations and Customer Solutions Teams. The DSE will help present the value that Southern Linc data solution products bring to perspective customers as well as maintain relationships with current data customers. Job Responsibilities: Conduct ongoing sales and support training when appropriate Supporting Southern Linc Sales Team’s with the use case development, sales calls, data solution training for fixed and MRM products and services, and data demos Provide input to design, testing, and deployment of products and services Participate as an active member of the Steering Committee to address opportunities and concerns for data sales Support the MASM’s installations, configurations and setup for all data solutions, Linc provides for customers when needed Assist in the installation of data products Maintain an active sales forecast utilizing reporting tools Manage stakeholder communication to appropriate parties Assist the Customer Solution Center with trouble shooting data sales Support the data portion of all new handsets Selling all data products in the Southern Linc portfolio Job Requirements: Proficient using standard Microsoft Office Products Prior experience in standard modem communication Excellent oral and written communications skills are required Prior selling/support experience in Local and State government or Utility & large commercial sales Experience selling and/or supporting Customers and Sales Teams with Data Solution Products Public Speaking experience Four- Year college degree preferred Wireless communications knowledge Prior fixed Data and mobile data sales support experience Job Details: Company: Southern Company Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Birmingham, AL, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.com
