Job Description: Cathode material is a critical component for Tesla vehicles and storage systems. The raw materials for producing cathode materials are playing important roles in terms of cathode quality and cost. This role will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to our final products. The work environment is demanding, fast-paced and incredibly exciting. Job Responsibilities: Work with a team of materials scientists, engineers, chemists, and technicians on extremely high priority/rapid response projects and routine quality testing in a cathode material quality laboratory Drive the development of new and innovative routine and non-routine procedures for cathode including its precursor process and product development Support chemical engineers and lab technicians executing testing following established procedures through training and technical assistance Interpret instrumentation data and review laboratory test reports for accuracy Contribute to process and product development, determine the best analytical course of actions, and drive to achieve accurate results as quickly as possible, all while communicating with various stakeholders across multiple teams Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in performance of daily activities Support laboratory information systems by identifying needs and problems, recommending improvements, training employees, and maintaining security and confidentiality Job Requirements: Bachelor degree or above in a relevant science (e.g. Inorganic Chemistry, Hydrometallurgy, etc.) Previous experience with cathode precursor synthesis, inorganic chemistry, hydrometallurgy, process control is asset Proficient in data analysis/interpretation and presentation of experimental data Use of laboratory information management systems Project management experience Demonstrated expertise in inorganic material synthesis, physical and chemical analytics, method development/validation, and quality controls Broad background in other materials science disciplines Experience successfully implementing quality control systems Detailed-oriented, able to work both independently and in a collaborative project-focused environment, prompt and dependable, and excellent verbal and written communication skills Job Details: Company: Tesla Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Brampton, Ontario, CA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.com
