Job Description:

You will serve as an Investigative Analyst responsible for collecting and analyzing a variety of intelligence data, and processing, tracking and inputting warrants into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing reports on a variety of investigative intelligence information to support ongoing investigations.
  • Providing administrative support and assistance to USMS Criminal Investigators in accomplishing activities for their assigned warrant cases.
  • Independently gathering, researching, and analyzing various types of data from federal, state, local, and public agencies.
  • Maintaining prisoner files and records.
  • Monitoring court orders to ensure deadlines are met.

Job Requirements:

  • May be required to successfully complete a trial/probationary period.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable determination of suitability for a Public Trust position.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.

Qualification & Experience:

  • You must have a master’s or equivalent graduate degree; OR 2 full years (36 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR an LL.B. or J.D.
