Job Description:

This position is in The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rural Development (RD), Rural Housing Service (RHS), Deputy Administrator, Multifamily Housing (MFH). The position provides executive leadership in the oversight, coordination, and servicing throughout Multifamily Housing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops procedures and systems for establishing and maintaining an internal controls and accountability program within MFH.
• Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of program operations and systems in meeting established goals and objectives.
• Explores ways to upgrade or enhance the level of services provided internal and external to the organization.
• Keeps abreast of changes in customer mission requirements through interaction with management throughout various echelons within the organization.
• Designs, implements, measures and monitors program metrics and other performance data for Multifamily Housing (MFH) programs.

Job Requirements:

• You must be a US Citizen or US National.
• Successful completion of one year probationary period, unless previously served.
• Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
• Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
• Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.

Qualification & Experience:

• Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level.
