Job Description:

Applies specialized data analysis and mathematical/statistical methodologies to ensure the effective and efficient design and operation of assigned corporate programs and information systems. Coordinates and conducts complex reporting, analysis,studies and projects to research, formulate, design, implement, and improve ongoing or proposed solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plans and develops the mathematical/statistical elements of large-scale data collection systems.
• Develops methodologies for extracting data from the data base, or for the expansion of data elements within the existing system.
• Determines control requirements, characteristics, and implementation procedures necessary for the verification of data.
• Participates in the development and implementation of new policies, systems, procedures and training programs.
• Coordinates the development and presentation of background material on procedures, concepts, policy, and time schedules on the installation of data collection systems.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to implement quality control techniques to ensure the integrity of data collection and data analysis activities.
• Knowledge of query, scripting and statistics programing languages and tools such as SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Visual Basic, Python, R, SAS, SPSS, or Alteryz for use in the data analysis of identifying patterns, creating dashboards, developing predictive models, data blending, operational testing and forecasting.
• Skill using business intelligence software packages and programming languages to identify, extract, collect and manipulate data for proper analysis.
• Ability to understand business situations and research problems to formulate appropriate analytical approaches.
• Ability to gather analytical research results from multiple sources and tailor oral and written communications to the audience to deliver program briefings, and present complex findings in visual, understandable, and compelling ways.
• Skill using Unix/Linix shell scripting.
• Skill using Teradata and/or Oracle data sources sufficient to develop data warehouse models, draft scripts, analyze data.
