Job Description:

This position coordinates and manages Council’s Waste Reduction and Recycling team to provide Council’s kerbside waste and recycling services. The position is responsible for implementing Council’s Waste Management Strategy to achieve Council’s strategic directions particularly in the areas of sustainable climate and environmental care.

Job Requirements:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with leadership skills and demonstrated experience in the waste reduction and recycling sector.

Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Environmental Science/Management or a similar field and highly developed communication skills having previously worked with various stakeholders in the key areas of environmental sustainability issues, waste minimisation and resource recovery.
