Job Description: The position forms part of team of committed traffic engineers and technical professionals all working towards delivering vibrant self-sustaining communities that are; accessible, functional, safe and well-connected. As a key member of the team, you are responsible for providing a quality, innovative and solution focused road safety, parking, traffic and transport engineering related investigations, assessments and approvals in relation to the city’s local and arterial road networks; Ensuring that engineering solutions are implemented innovatively within a growth area context and in accordance with industry standards, specifications and Council policy and guidelines Job Requirements: You will be qualified in Civil Engineering (or other equivalent engineering discipline), with experience in traffic and transport operations, or closely related field preferably in Local or State Government.
