Job Description:
Cabinet Division is seeking advisers for a number of positions across the division (Cabinet Secretariat, National Security and Cabinet Systems, Priorities and Delivery Unit, and National Cabinet Branches). We operate in a dynamic environment at the heart of government, providing a range of functions to ensure the smooth functioning of the Cabinet and its Committees and the Federal Executive Council. The work is interesting and challenging, often fast-paced and has a high degree of autonomy and visibility, within PM&C and across Government.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the production of Cabinet Minutes with other areas of the department and the Cabinet Secretary’s office.
- Undertaking records management duties including file creation, searches, distribution of files and archiving.
- Assist with requests for access to Cabinet records including document identification, preparation of documents for release and database management.
- Managing the distribution of Cabinet documents through the CabNet+ system as a Cabinet Liaison Officer.
- Supporting the department’s executive support teams and policy teams to understand Cabinet meeting arrangements and processes.
